Terry Knutson has a heart for Africa and a passion for World Vision water programs. “God wanted me to get involved in what He was already doing through World Vision,” he said. “I was fortunate to have a growing business, and wanted to give away well what God entrusted me with.” Now, as an investor in the Southern Africa Water Initiative, he is helping to expand World Vision’s successful West Africa water programs into Southern Africa.
“Children are dying every day from preventable diseases,” he said. “World Vision has proven, sustainable programs to dramatically improve the health, educational, and spiritual aspects of life and help people with these drastic needs.” Terry’s faith and his “play big” outlook fuel his mission to help change lives with clean water. “This is an emergency,” he said. “As Americans, we can really bring effectiveness and efficiency to the party. As Christians, we are called to do good deeds and then tell people the good news.”
